I am trying to create a list of the maps related to the space program. Anyone knowledgeable out there who can help me with this list? I will post what I put together. I am not ready to collect these yet, but am getting interested. |

Ben, can you elaborate a bit on what you're looking to collect? Are you referring to astronomical charts used by astronauts to navigate or maps of space facilities (or both)? |

I am speaking of maps used primarily for space flight. I've seen these for years, but have not paid them much attention. - Apollo Earth Orbit Chart (AEO)
- Apollo Intermediate Chart (AIC) 1:500,000
- Apollo Mission Chart (AMC)
- Apollo Preliminary Traverse Map
- Apollo Target of Opportunity (ATO) Flight Chart
- Apollo Translunar/Transearth Trajectory Plotting Chart (ATT)
- CSM PTC Star Chart
- LM Post-Landing star chart
- LM Pre-Liftoff star chart
- Lunar Chart (LAC) series of 33 for moon landings mid to late 1960s
- Lunar Landing Aerial Map (LAM) 1:100,000
- Lunar Landing Area Geology Maps (LAM-G) 1:100,000
- Lunar Landing Site Geology Maps (LSM-G) 1:25,000
- Lunar Landing Site Maps (LSM) 1:25,000
- Lunar Map (LM) replaced LACs in 1970s, 1:1,000,000
- Lunar Map (LM) replaced LACs in 1970s, 1:1,000,000
- Lunar Module Descent Monitoring Chart
- Lunar Surface Exploration Geologic Maps (LSE-G) 1:5,000
- Lunar Surface Exploration Maps (LSE) 1:5,000
- Mercury Recovery Charts (MRC-1 to MRC-8)
- Predicted and Actual Lunar Impact Map
- Ranger Lunar Chart (RLC) 1:10,000 mid 1960s for and by the Ranger VII, VIII, and IX programs. Published by USAF.

I wanted to bump this topic. I see a number of Earth Orbit and Lunar Orbit charts on eBay and other auctions and wanted to learn more about them.Outside of "flown" charts/maps are some more desirable than others? Some more rare than others? Who were they used by? |

After "window shopping" on eBay, I found that there's two types of shuttle charts being listed. One set is the Mission Chart and another is Groundtrack Chart (Mission Chart). What is the difference between the two since both are characterized as "Mission Charts?"Are there any Mission Charts for the Orion EFT-1? I've seen only "flight profiles" rather than these types of charts. | |
