Project Vanguard: The NASA History by Constance McLaughlin Green, Milton Lomask, and Paul Dickson quote: This authoritative, illustrated history chronicles the Vanguard project, which placed the United States' second man-made satellite into Earth orbit. In addition to analysis of the program's scientific and technical challenges, it surveys the influence of the launchings of the first Russian Sputniks and Vanguard's impact on subsequent space missions. That's the idea. Legal agreement is being worked out between NASA and the publisher for the three titles I've mentionned and possibly more to come.Chris. | |
