Carmelo,Try also Googling the book title and Clive Thompson, who reviewed the book favorably for the NYT. Smith belongs more to the "gonzo" school of journalism, so he follows in the cultural criticism literary steps of Tom Wolfe, a writing style that the more reverent readers sometimes find offensive or off-putting. Still, Smith is a true space junkie and fan, trying to make sense, as we all do here, of a unique moment in history. Full disclosure: Smith interviewed me, and Rene Carpenter, when researching his book. | |
