That would be nice...if he does a signing, perhaps he can bring along the guy who wrote the forward as well.

This is the book Kim Poor mentioned in his report after the Schmitt signing. It sounds like there is no autobiographical material in it, but I would have to assume there is some historical mention of what the Apollo flights found on the moon (in order to lay the groundwork for what we should do next).

Thanks for reminding me to purchase the book. From the looks of the title, I expect it will be more about the helium 3 story and the value of getting back to the moon rather than his Apollo experiences (although I could be wrong, and hope I am). I expect it will be somewhat technical and dry reading (and I'm a geologist). But I'll read it and provide a critque.

I got my copy in the mail two days ago. The is primarily about Earth's energy usage and how mining Helium-3 can help solve this problem. While I agree with this idea, I found some of his ideas and suggestions hard to swallow.
