Does anyone of our British-based colleagues know which series (?) this is about ?
The only BBC series I know was "The Planets" in 8 superb episodes which were made available on a double DVD...
And the series "Space" with Sam Neil as commentator ...
But what is this 2004 Space Odyssey about ? |

Space Odyssey – Voyage to the Planets From the makers of Walking with Dinosaurs, this series to be shown by the BBC this autumn uses computer graphic imaging to create an exploratory journey across our solar system. Seen through the eyes of five astronauts on a six-year mission, it reveals the wonders as well as the physical and emotional dangers of investigating neighbouring worlds. Viewers with digital television can enjoy an insight into the high-tech world of the European Space Agency’s mission control room and meet scientists and astronauts involved in real space missions. Received the BBC DVD "Space Odyssey - Voyage to the planets" this morning ... next to the 2 episodes it contains the BBC-Four documentary 'Robot Pioneers' ( with Dr Dave Scott, Dr Golombek, engineer interviews ), photo gallery, 'Making of', etc ... in the special features area of this very good DVD !
