I just saw that Dr. Ride has a new book out, "Exploring Our Solar System," which was released about 2 weeks ago.

I checked out this site. The photos seem to indicate that the signed books are signed on the covers. Could that be correct? If so, Does anybody get books signed on the covers? The inside title pages or even inside binding are much more desireable. Would you want to buy a pre-signed book such as this for any reason?Cliff |

I'm buying a couple for the kids and their friends for Christmas.Her signature actually looks good on the cover. If you want, you can display it as well. I think it looks kinda cool. Rizz |

Hi Rizz,
I noticed that youre on Maui, where exactly are you located on Maui? My sister lives on Maui and I want her to see if she can get me any information from the observatory near Haleakala. I am in search of photos of telescopes, planets, and such for a big "space" themed project I am working on. Have you ever been up there? From what she's been telling me, everybody over there is being secretive about it, or won't say anything about it. I told her that it isn't a secret, there are signs posted around the park! |

I contacted the people at the Sally Ride Store about where the autograph is and they sent the following reply.Thank you for your interest in Dr. Ride's new book, the books are signed on
the inside of the book, on the cover/blank page prior to the title page.
