There are three new Apogee books out in the bookstores now.

Apollo 16 NASA Mission Reports with the complete moonwalk footage and quicktime panorama shots on a CD-rom.

A great compilation of spacecraft models and kits in the book Creating Space, The Story of the Space Age Told Through Models.

Women Astronauts with a complete list of women who have flown in space. Includes a CD-rom with interviews.

The Apollo 16 book is a smash hit with lots of photos, panoramas, all the moonwalk video footage plus an interview with John Young.

Great stuff

Larry McGlynn

Today I purchased the new apogee "Women Astronauts" book from IWASM. It has standardized biographies, but color shots of all the women. You don't need to download or be internet ready for the accompanying CD-ROM.Video interviews with Ms. Baker,K.Chawla,
E.Collins,B.Dunbar,A.Fisher,L.Godwin,E.Ochoa,
H.Pepper, & S.Ride. Upon 1st glance I noticed it states not Cernan but H.Schmitt was the last to step on the moon. :/
