Since I have not seen it mentioned here yet, Apogee's recnt publications include a mission report for Freedom 7. I have not yet had the chance to review the accompanying CD, but the book appears to be consistent with their usual high quality. |

I just bought this one on Saturday along with the Apollo 14 and X-15 book. All three are excellent and I highly recommend them. I also browsed the STS book (green cover)covering missions 1 through 5 and would note that it may be too many missions for a single volume.The freedom 7 book has some great pictures in it and the mission report is fascinating. It reminds us of just how little we knew about space travel back then and the unknown dangers that men like the original 7 were willing to face. Right Stuff indeed. Cheers,
