Owen Garriott has asked that autograph requests no longer be sent through the mail to any addresses that may be known by collectors. He has requested I remove his address from this site (which has been done) and that those of you who do maintain lists, to please do the same. |

Just like to say that if Mr. Garriott reads this site, thanks for all the times you have accommodated our autograph requests. It is much appreciated. |

I know Dr. Garriott is listed as "no longer accepting" autograph requests on the address resource here in cS, but does he ever make exceptions or make signing appearances? I have a Skylab litho signed by all Skylab astronauts except for him and Pete Conrad (now deceased). Is there hope I could still get it signed or is my litho as close to 100% as it's ever going to get? Editor's note: Threads merged. |

When Owen appeared with his son Richard at the Explorers Club in September 2013, he was kind enough to do autographs when asked - although he limited it to two items. Just have to be patient, I guess. |

I purchased the Skylab signed print from ASF and had the idea of writing to ask if he would be so kind to sign it – even said I would donate or pay him via check. After a year still no response... that being said it never hurts to try! Hope this helped! |

Owen has specifically asked not to receive autograph requests through the mail. Please respect his wishes. |

I apologize, I did not read the above posting before replying — if I would have known that I would not have written. |

Astronaut Owen Garriott died on April 15 2019. I sended a few items to have them signed in 2013 (!) to him. Did not know about the post of 2002. Today (23 April 2019!) I received two signed photos.Could it be he has been cleaning his desk before he died? Did any one also had this late reply? |

I asked Richard Garriott (son of Owen) about this and he answered: Yes, I found the pile of unsent photos. Some were signed but never sent, others were unsigned. I mailed them all out.If he had not signed them, I added a letter and a card he and I had made together. |

Then I am also the lucky recipient of signed, but not sent items. Owen Garriott signed two photos and one cover for me. Lucky he sent them now - in three months time, my own address would have changed.
