Perhaps a long shot, but I wondered if anyone knew the whereabouts on Pismo Beach, California the lunar rover was tested?

Apparently, there was a "lunar roving vehicle mobility test unit" based there, north of the Delco assembly plant at Galeta. There are photos around of Jack Lousma driving an early prototype around there.

I am going to be in the area in the next few months and thought it might be fun to swing by, if I can locate where on the beach the images were taken.
