Cosmonaut Alexei Leonov died October 11, 2019, at the age of 85. In 1965 he became the first person to walk in space. He is shown here during the US-Soviet Apollo-Soyuz mission in 1975.

It was an honour and a privilege to have met him over here in the UK nine years ago. He signed my copy of 'Two Sides Of The Moon'and to have his signature alongside Dave's and Al's is amazing for me!
