Partially obscured by morning mist, Space Shuttle Columbia atop the mobile launcher platform and crawler/transporter makes the journey from the Vehicle Assembly Building to Launch Pad 39A on November 28, 1889, in preparation for STS-32. Rollout from the VAB began at 2:32 a.m. EST and the vehicle was on the pad pedestals about eight hours later.

And in 1869 Mr Arthur Armstrong from Kensington set foot on the Moon. The Victorians were pretty smart.

Although no one had the nickname "Buzz" during the Victorian age. How about Beriah Aldrin.
