Wally is drinking Fresca, a diet grapefruit citrus soft drink made by The Coca-Cola Company. It was first introduced in the United States in 1966. |

Fresca?! Gross. Those test pilots and astronauts had strong stomachs!I remember as a kid (b.1963) those Tang commercials, and I was convinced that every astronaut drank Tang all the time and that if I had Tang with my breakfast, I was an astronaut too! I hounded my mom to pack the powdered Tang in my lunchbox. But Fresca?! That would have been too much to ask of me as a Kindergartner. |

My mom drank Fresca in the 60s. I thought it was nasty. |
