heng44 Member Posts: 3387 From: Netherlands Registered: Nov 2001	posted 09-07-2018 12:46 PM Apollo 9 backup command module pilot Dick Gordon climbs into an Apollo docking simulator at the Langley Research Center on September 5, 1968. The simulator allowed the capsule to pitch, yaw and roll, giving astronauts the sensation of flying while making slight directional changes.
