The STS-134 launch on May 16, 2011, as seen from the Senatobia-1 balloon at 64,000 ft. altitude.

Happy New Year!

Great shot, Ed... Happy New Year!

Balloon was definitely north of KSC... would you know how far north of the launch site it was?

All I know is that the balloon was launched near Bronson, FL. on May 16, 2011, at 7:45 a.m. EST and touched down near Pierson, FL. after travelling 130 miles in 2hrs 30mins.

All times are CT (US)
