Joe Engle can be seen through the cockpit windows of the Enterprise as he prepares for the second free flight in the Approach and Landing Test series on September 13, 1977. The photo was taken from the Mate/Demate Device at the Dryden Flight Research Center.

You can see the word EJECTION on top of the vehicle in the photo.
