Gemini 7 prime and backup crews pose at Launch Pad 19 after slidewire training on November 23, 1965. Left to right are Ed White, Mike Collins, Jim Lovell and Frank Borman.

Great photo, Ed!

Too bad prime crew weren't in flight suits like the backup crew.

Mike Collins looks like he did not enjoy the slidewire ride at all.

Interesting image.

One would never fly a mission of which he was not in command.

The two backup crew members would perform somewhat successful EVAs during Gemini.

Three would go to the moon, one of them twice, yet none would land.

Photo S65-41828 shows all four wearing the blue flight suits.

Borman and Lovell did not have name tags on the flight suits they were wearing after the Gemini 7 splashdown.

Yes, thanks LM-12. That's the standard Gemini 7 crew photo.

Here is some film footage of the egress training at the pad. All four astronauts are also seen wearing the Gemini 7 suit.

All times are CT (US)
