Launch of Discovery on STS-105 on August 10, 2001, was photographed from the International Space Station by a member of the Expedition 2 crew.

Could it be the only shot of a manned launch taken from space? At least by a human and not a sat?

I believe that Gemini 7 saw the launch of Gemini 6 also.

There were twelve frames taken in the shuttle sequence. Expedition 39 photographed the Soyuz TMA-12M launch in 2014.

Before I start searching, do you have frame numbers for the ISS-39 photos?

The frames of the shuttle launch are ISS002-732-81 to ISS002-732-92.

The Soyuz TMA-12M launch photo is ISS039-E-005434.
