STS-53 mission specialist Rich Clifford waits for Discovery's hatch to be opened after landing at the Dryden Flight Research Center on December 9, 1992. The crew had to stay inside the orbiter due to a leaking thruster in the reaction control system. After the ground crew used a fan to blow away the fumes, the astronauts could exit Discovery about 90 minutes late.

That is Guion Bluford at left. Robert Cabana was sitting on the floor beside Bluford.
