View of Soyuz 19 as seen from the Apollo spacecraft during the ASTP mission in 1975. Part of the Docking Module can be seen in the foreground. |

Interesting shot. As with many of your photos Ed, I haven't seen this one until now. I watched that mission from start to finish on TV. The end of the Apollo era. But it was great wasn't it? |

Were they docking or undocking when the photo was taken? |

Unknown. They are part of a magazine with several shots of the Soyuz at approximately the same distance.

I think the above image (AST-02-072) might be an undocking photo. Frame 02-093 was taken on REV 60. The two spacecraft docked on REV 29. |

I'm guessing this shot was taken by Deke Slayton. I'm going by the angle of the window. |

Wish someone would do the full magazines for this mission. You can get the best Skylab, Apollo, Gemini, Mercury in-flight stuff in hi-res, but ASTP has always fallen through the 'not a moon landing' cracks. |

The flight plan has Deke Slayton in the left seat for the undocking and separation maneuvers on Day 5. |
