This still frame from the onboard 16mm camera flown on Apollo mission AS-202 in August 1966 suggests that the flight was manned. However, the frame was exposed when the camera was run for a few seconds as a test during closeout activities of command module 011 prior to launch. Ed Hengeveld |

They had it all wrong - it wasn't Russian cosmonauts who died by the dozens, it was Americans, and this frame proves it! |

Search Spacecraft Films on Vimeo and then go to Manned Space Flight Report #14. It covers the 3rd quarter of 1966 and includes some launch footage of AS-202 on August 25, 1966.Or, search "Mark Gray Vimeo". That should get you there. |

I seriously think that this is Q showing up to see what havoc he could wreak in the 20th Century. Finding no life onboard, Q decided to wait until the 24th Century.Just my humble opinion after a couple of vinos on a Saturday night... |

Is that a fastener or screw missing on that window in the upper right hand corner? Great picture. |

Why was a camera never used inside the Command Module during launches for manned Apollo missions to the moon? |
