 Forty years ago today, the Apollo 11 astronauts finally came home. Travelling inside the Mobile Quarantine Facility via Hawaii, they arrived at Ellington AFB and were trucked to the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston. Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, beams a smile as he steps from the MQF and is greeted by personnel in the Lunar Receiving Laboratory. Ed Hengeveld |
