heng44 Member Posts: 3387 From: Netherlands Registered: Nov 2001	posted 07-04-2009 02:37 AM Forty years ago today, the crew of Apollo 11 had completed their Countdown Demonstration Test, the final dress rehearsal before launch. They are seen here as they leave the elevator at the foot of the launch tower to enter the Astrovan for the ride back to crew quarters.

You usually see the video shot of them arriving at the elevator with the the closeout crew member saying "God speed men". Are those the same suits they wore for the flight or just training units? Good picture.
