Forty years ago today, preparations were being made at the Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39B for the Apollo 10 Countdown Demonstration Test. Activity began with the pullback of the Mobile Service Structure.

Just for orientation, which way is the VAB from this view, to the left?

The VAB is more or less behind and to the right of the viewer.
