Tom Stafford is ordering a pizza while in training as backup pilot for Gemini-3 in early 1965. Or perhaps he is phoning his wife that he will be home late. Ed Hengeveld |

Ed, what a great behind the scenes shot. I vote for a pizza, myself. (Love that Star Chart on the wall!). Classic! Rich |

Judging by the flip calendar on his desk I believe you're right about it being early in the year, Ed. Also, going by where the slide button is on his Teledex I'd say it's probably open in the "S" listing. Too early to be Starbucks, so maybe Stafford! Colin |

Good detective work Colin. But I believe by the expression on his face that he's saying "come on guys, I need some more head room". The rest is history. |

I was just going to say the same thing about that star chart on the wall. Classic astronaut photo! Tom

That photo reminds me of "Thanksgiving with the Kranzes" [which I watched last week and still found it hysterical]. |

Stafford is saying - "OK, I've got the space suit on now, but where did I leave my helmet?" |
