The mood was good as the official portrait of the Gemini-4 prime and backup crews was taken on July 29, 1964. Left to right are Ed White, prime pilot; Jim McDivitt, prime command pilot; Frank Borman, backup command pilot; and Jim Lovell, backup pilot. They pose with a model of the Gemini spacecraft during a news conference in the Manned Spacecraft Center Auditorium. Note that the model has the Paraglider landing skids. Ed Hengeveld |
