The Skylab-2 crew pose at the Kennedy Space Center in May 1973. Left to right are Paul Weitz, Pete Conrad and Joe Kerwin. The nice thing about this photo is that it includes the Saturn-5 launch vehicle with the unmanned Skylab space station on Launch Complex 39A (at left), as well as the Saturn-1B that later launched the crew (in the distance at right).

As always, Ed...GREAT photo.
Whats unique is that not only are both launch vehicles in the photo, but that the Mobile Service Structure is NOT at either pad.

I can't help but notice the difference in hieght between Conrad and his crewmates... it makes me think of Conrad's first words on the Moon, when he poked fun at himself being "vertically challenged".

PS... they sure have their pockets stuffed full don't they?
