Apollo-7 astronauts Wally Schirra (left) and Walt Cunningham prepare to enter the blockhouse behind them to witness the launch of Apollo-5 on January 22, 1968. Eleven months later they would ride a similar Saturn-1B launch vehicle to orbit. Ed Hengeveld |

Great picture, but it was less than 9 months later (Oct. 11-22, 1968). Is it just me, or does it seem like most of the informal pictures of the Apollo 7 crew (not this one, though) show Cunningham leading the discussion? ------------------ John Charles Houston, Texas [This message has been edited by John Charles (edited December 10, 2005).] |

I have a signed version of that picture in my collection, Nolan Sims brought a few over to Autographica a few years ago, they were already signed by Schirra and Cunningham was attending so I bought one and had it completed. Keep up the great work Ed. Adam | |
