I've seen a zillion studies over the years for all sorts of lunar and Mars landing/flyby missions as well as many Venus flybys, usually associated with a Mars mission. Has anyone ever seen any serious hardware studies done for any other destinations? Moons of Jupiter, Mercury, etc.? The only ones I know of are:
  • A NASA study of manned Mercury trajectories in the 1960s
  • A NASA study from about 1968 talking about Ganymede landers
  • A study NASA did for a Callisto lander in 2003 called HOPE
Anyone know of any others (aside from Project Orion)?

All times are CT (US)
