Here are two pictures of an unknown woman in Mission Control during the Apollo 9 mission. Does anybody know who she is?

Jerry Bostick says “I do not recognize her, but assume since she is at the Surgeon console that she may be from their staff support room.”I’ll try some others... |

Apollo PAO Doug Ward said: I do not recognize the woman in the picture. The flight surgeon is Willard Hawkins. If the picture were of better quality, the woman's badge would be telling — is it white or green? She does not appear to be wearing a headset, which I would expect if she were from a staff support room. |

Is the doctor holding a prescription bottle/looking at the container in the second photo and might the woman have just brought that? Although her dress is not for a clinical setting, so perhaps a wife who brought in a Rx? Who knows, just sleuthing... |

Here are the full resolution files that I obtained from John Uri at JSC yesterday. I can't see any helpful details, but someone else may. The only thing we are fairly certain about is that she is not Charlotte Maltese who was the secretary for the Apollo 9 crew and also was in MCC at some point during the sixth day of the mission. This began as part of the chasing down of an urban myth about Apollo 9 that even NASA believed was true. From there it has branched into a number of other mysteries, such as this one.
