Most of us know the name Mary Sherman Morgan, known as the world's first female rocket scientist (see "Rocket Girl" by George D. Martin; Prometheus Books).
Any other female scientists in this branch of work?

I have had the extreme pleasure of corresponding with Sara Howard, an engineer from Boeing who worked on the first stage of the Saturn V. She was also kind enough to send me an autographed photo. A very classy lady.

Tatiana P. Suvorova celebrated her 100th birthday on December 18, 2014. She worked for S.P. Korolyov as well. More information see here.
