Space enthusiasts won't want to miss space shuttle astronaut Tom Jones' IAmA thread on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m. EST (2000 GMT). Dr. Jones, a scientist, author and pilot, will address the topics of Human Asteroid Exploration, Planetary Defense and Mars Exploration.

A veteran of four space shuttle missions to orbit Earth during his 11 years with NASA, Jones is a highly regarded expert on space travel, exploration and planetary defense.
