Indeed! Birthday wishes to Col. Al -- who we think missed his true calling as a late night TV talk show host... assuming he could get Lovell to be his sidekick! |

A birthday is just the first day of another 365-day journey around the sun. Enjoy the trip. Happiest of birthdays to you Al |

The accolades and good wishes for your birthday are all richly deserved, Al. In all the years I've known you, or even known about you, Al Worden has been one of the finest ambassadors the space programme (and lately the ASF) has ever known. Heartiest greetings on this non-milestone birthday, Al - I promise not to make too much of a fuss over the same date next year!Buy the book when it comes out, everyone; I had the privilege of reading the manuscript and it is right up there with the best. Cheers and Beers. |

Seems like a good time to remind people on this side of the pond that the "birthday boy" is coming to Scotland at the end of May. An opportunity not to be missed!Happy birthday, Al. |

During one of his many appearances on the Mister Rogers show, Al made a birthday journey back to the moon with a woman, a cat and a large purple panda. This second moon flight is mysteriously absent from NASA's records.
Happy Birthday, Al! |

Happy Birthday Col. Worden.I honor you for all the work you have done to make the Astronauts Scholarship Foundation a tremendous success. Dozens and dozens of brilliant students can work on their studies and research instead of flipping burgers to make tuition payments. |
