Hi Folks,

Can anybody tell me that in the 4 years Dr.Michel was at NASA was he involved in any experiments for the ALSEP or was he moved straight into the AAP office ?
Any information would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Alex.

I don't recall even after just reading "NASA's Scientist Astronauts". I'd look there for an answer. I'll try to find time to take a look myself.

I have read that Dr.Michel was primarily assigned to the Apollo applications office and in 1966 was appointed to monitor the Apollo Telescope Mount project at the Marshall space flight centre.

His field of interest i believe was Solar winds and was involved in the ALSEP experiment, the Suprathermal ion detector with Dr.John Freeman.

But this is mostly all i can find on Dr.Michel, thanks anyway mcroft,

Cheers,
Alex.
