similar layout as NASA site with the menus

They speak Portuguese in Brazil. But it's similar to Spanish from what I can tell.

If I remember my history well enough, just after Columbus discovered the Americas for the Europeans the Pope resolved an argument between Portugal and Spain on who owned what in South America. Since the map was very preliminary, the Pope drew a line that went from north to south through what we now know to be the eastern part of South America (no where near the center of the continent). Portugal got what was to the east of the line and Spain got the rest. To Spain's advantage it turned out that there was much more land on the other side of the Pope's line.
