What was the shipping method? It's been so long since I ordered them I cannot remember if it was USPS, UPS or other. Thanks. |

My books from JSC arrived today as well - shipped USPS media mail from Houston on July 9. Thanks Robert for the heads up - two Aldrin signed books for about $50 is a great deal! |

Mine arrived as well. Great deal but I must say Buzz must have signed a lot of books that day as his signature was rough on a couple of the kids books I received. I can understand why he has limited signings as it must make for a long day. |

Mine have arrived here in Orlando the day before I leave, phew! Is there any way to tell if these are First Editions or not? Published by the National Geographic Society they don't carry the usual print details but do have the code 13/QGF-LPH/1 at the bottom of the page. Robert, thank you for highlighting this opportunity. |

Mine arrived from ShopNasa yesterday. I picked up "Mission to Mars," "Look to the Stars," and "Reaching for the Moon." Well packed and a great score! Thanks Buzz. |

Glad to hear everyone is receiving their books and are happy with them. No thanks necessary on my part, as I all I did was pass along the information I received, but happy to have helped. |

Robert, of course you only passed on the information, but I myself would not have gotten it otherwise, so a Thanks is appropriate! |

Following Paul's (Crash) question regarding identifying the books confusing lettering and numbering do any of our members know how to identify the edition number? |

I was out of town and picked up my shipment today at the PO. Despite being well packed the box was crushed in and the corners were smashed in typical USPS fashion. Luckily I ordered two of each book. My kids "Look to the Stars" books both had the bottom binding corner smashed and one of the "Mission to Mars" books got dinged. Their "Reaching for the Moon" were in the middle and faired best. Hard to complain at the price but still disappointing as always with USPS. Hope the health care delivers better for my kids. |

Aldrin and the co-author are appearing here at the Clinton Library so I will probably get a couple copies signed soon. I look forward to the lecture as much as the signing. The signing was tonight and there were somewhere over 2600 people present. Buzz was funny and gracious and for me the high point was his retelling of the lunar landing from 30,000 ft to the surface. |
