Thats great news, I have an Apollo 13 flight plan just ripe for a signature, I hope he does attend.

With due respect Paul: what you label as 'wild speculation' is largely excitement, along the same lines as kids trying to guess what Santa might have left under the tree! Capt Haise is, of course, in the UK a fortnight earlier, so people are bound to hope...
I would put hard cash on it that neither Dave nor Jason object to the speculation and anticipation, both of which are part of the fun!

Will Dave Scott be doing a photo shoot at Autographica?I already have several signed photos of Dave but would love to have a photo with him.If there is no formal photo shoot what would the chance be of getting one on my camera?

Are you coming to the dinner? If so, you're virtually guaranteed a photo beforehand!

I'm almost definate that he allowed photos at his table when he was signing last time. Though it sounds like you have the same dilema as me, don't really want to pay another £95 for a signature to be able to get a photo but hoping an organised photo shoot will happen to get a better picture and just pay for that!

The scary thing is I was semi suspecting that might happen!
Still as long as Jim Lovell and Edgar Mitchell turn up they may have as many apes as they wish!

Yes, but we are also getting Alf Garnett...
Could the ape be from WEST Ham...! (groan)
(OK, so you've got to be of a certain age, but then I suspect most space collectors are.)

He's not even the Ape attacked by the leopard! Or the one that throws the bone into the sky!
Still: he was in '2001' and we weren't, which is why we have to pay to attend and he doesn't! Good for Tony!
I think I'm right in saying that 'Ham' and 'Enos' are both old testament characters. Any other chimps in that group have a name? (Apart from Paulus!)

I`m saying nothing but...
Plus returning to the thread is there anymore news if there are anymore guests yet to be announced be it Astronauts, Cosmonauts or 2001 guests?
Cheers, Alex.

First, to make it totally plain: I have no inside track: this just my OPINION! I'd be surprised if Dave & Jason don't pull out a couple more additions to an already fabulous guest list: they generally keep something in reserve!

That's great. They were super guys to talk to at the Burbank show. I had a gliding T-shirt on and Gary told how, after a flight in a glider with Steve Macqueen, he'd never do it again!

I've been a bit of an apologist for Dr Mitchell since he cancelled last time: now I feel a bit let down.
Mmmmm: wonder if he has a problem with Dave Scott?

Don't know about a problem with Scott, after all they are both appearing together at the upcoming ASF show.

It's no secret that Dr Mitchell does suffer from sciatica occasionally, maybe it has flared up again and made the long flights and the 2 days sitting at a table too much for him at the moment.
If it is the cause then get well soon Dr Mitchell
