A few thoughts:

Now that Kim Poor has added another non signing astronaut to his list and our benefit, who will be the next non signing astronaut he'll be able to get? You know he'll get one!

Mattingly?
Haise?
Anders?

Anders would be the hardest one to get but probably the most desirable followed by Mattingly and then Haise. Did I forget anyone?

Of coarse the biggest shock in our hobby would be getting Armstrong. Would he ever consider a charity signing and at what price? My odds:

1% yes
99% no

Who would you want Kim to invite back for another signing?

Being realistic, I can't see Anders signing.
As far as I am aware, Haise does not sign for money.
Therefore, is Mattingly a possibility? That would be good if Kim could pull it off.

My guess is that Haise or Mattingly might do it, if they could also do signings where their proceeds go to charity. I won't hold my breath, but a Mattingly signing would be nice.

From what I've heard, Anders dislikes signing to the degree that he'd rather donate to charity straight from his own bank account rather than sign to raise the proceeds. The signed teddy bears on the Aurora auction were a rare exception, I think. Then again, I read some old topics where there was talk of an Apollo 8 signing...so they might have come close to getting him. (The 40th Anniversary for Apollo 8 is rapidly appoaching...hint hint).

Never say never, however... (except, perhaps, with Armstrong). My guess is that Novaspace is trying to get any or all of the above to sign. As with Borman and McDivitt, their persistence finally paid off.

I wouldn't mind seeing another Schmitt, Lovell, or Young signing, actually...since I missed the previous signings.

On another note, is Stafford still signed up with The Space Source for his signings? Or is he working with someone else? I've tried contacting them several times about getting a couple of photos signed, but have never heard back from them. Has Stafford signed publically since 2004? I wouldn't mind seeing Stafford make the jump to Novaspace, actually. Or Farthest Reaches. Or anyone that actually replies to their e-mails.

I'd like to see a return of Borman, seeing as I didn't participate in the past signing.

Others I would like to see are Haise, Mattingly, Engle and Garriott.

Ones I would love but doubt will ever happen are obviously, Armstrong and Anders. It would be great if they signed for the ASF even if they stipulated everything must be dedicated to someone !
