I would like to thank Kim Poor and the crew at NOVASPACE for the outstanding service that they provide to collectors. After the Burbank event, we shipped my sons’ 1/144 scale Saturn V rocket to Tucson for a number of moon voyager signings there. During the last 12 months or so, Lovell, Borman, Collins, Schmitt & Young’s’ signatures have been added to the rocket body, creating one hell of a nice display. Thanks also goes out to Buzz for resigning it with permanent ink this time We were also able to add (at a very reasonable price) a Surface Flown item from Gene Cernans personal collection, complete with a personalized COA. It just doesn’t get much better than that! For the newbies out there, NOVASPACE is a fine place to get some real nice authentic signatures and quality artifacts. Happy collecting. Rizz |

Glad to hear that Buzz was able to re-sign the rocket. Out of curiosity, what type of pen did he use the first time?Do you have photos of the rocket posted anywhere? It would be fun to see the result of all those signings. |

Buzz used a very fine point sharpie in Burbank. My guess was that it had some kind of non-curing thing going on as result of the resin model being built just days before it was signed. The same thing happened with Rusty Schweickart and Dave Scott signatures The 3 of those signatures almost completely vanished just a few months after signing. I’m certain that it had nothing to do with my checks bouncing…..
Easy come easy go. However, all of the other signatures from Burbank are still dark and bold. Kim offered to help. At the NOVASPACE signing in December, he had asked Buzz to resign it for my son. It looks great. I haven’t taken photos of it yet completed, but here is one from Burbank followed by a few links from some of the NOVASPACE signings-

....by the way, that 144th scale Saturn 5 is very clean looking. Mine is a bit grimy in comparison - but of course it's over 36 years old (and still intact except for the modified wooden golf-tee doubling as an escape tower). |

you clean up nicely, Rizz. Mahalo to Kim, indeed. I received my Bean "In the Begining" print back from Kim with Gene's signature on it. Hung it back up on the wall and realized that the only missing signatures are Anders, Mattingly and Armstrong.
