And I am pleased to announce that a good portion of a few paychecks will be spent at your show. Both of those are sponsored by my wallet. Gene |

I can personally attest to how great it is having Sy Liebergot at the show. My father and I sat with him at the Burbank dinner and the experience was unforgettable. Everyone else at the dinner will probably think the same of the guest they sat with, but I could not imagine a better guest to sit with!!Chris Scheer [This message has been edited by Bookman1975 (edited April 22, 2005).] |

Well, that's certainly a good commercial for joining us at this year's banquet. Thanks for those kind words. Good seating is still available, so if you're planning on attending the show and would like to join us for dinner, please contact Nolan at nhsims@ev1.net. Full details about the show and the banquet can be found at www.autographshows.net. ------------------ Steve Hankow http://www.farthestreaches.com |

We actually have some tenative plans for two upcoming events but mum's the word as to location at this point. Besides, neither location has been firmed up as of yet. Beyond that, there's no way of knowing who will be available and willing to participate in the future, so would suggest you not miss this years opportunity. Stay tuned..------------------ Steve Hankow http://www.farthestreaches.com [This message has been edited by farthestreaches (edited May 30, 2005).] |

Steve Hankow:You should consider having the Show in Phoenix, Arizona. It is a great place for Astronauts gatherings and for Night Star Parites |

What is the best (cheapest) method of getting from the Newark airport to the show? Will the hotel where the show is located pick up? Thanks, tom |

According to the e-mail I just received from Novaspace concerning the Frank Borman signing, Gene Cernan won't be attending the UACC show. I'm very disapointed. I've never met Mr. Cernan and was hoping he would attend. I'm wondering if any more Astronauts/Cosmonauts will be added or if the current guest list is it. The current guest list is fantastic, but living in Michigan I don't get to meet many Astronauts in-person. And unless a future UACC Astronaut show is going to be in the Chicago/Detroit/Cleveland area I probably won't be going to another one. Mark |

Kim at Novaspace is correct. We have also just been informed by Gene Cernan that he will be out of the country at the time of our event, so will in fact, be unable to attend. At the present time we have no plans for an event in the Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland area, though we hope you will be able to join us in August. Astronaut and Cosmonaut personal appearances are always subject to their availablity, (as we've learned all too well from past experience), and this may include among other things, previous committments, health, the state of the world, acts of gd, and etc. Though some may think it as self serving, others will understand that it's probably a good idea to attend when you can, and not necessarily count on there being a "next time", because there are simply no guarantees as to the who, when or where, aspects of future events. ------------------ Steve Hankow http://www.farthestreaches.com |

re taneal1 If you email the hotel they will send you all the information you need regarding getting to and from and picking you up. We emailed from New Zealand and in less than 5 days had in our hot little hands timetables and contact details for transport and pickup options sent by the hotel staff - they were fantastic.

Am happy to give those of you wanting to know, some info. re: anticipated pricing but given it's subject to change, would be more comfortable answering such questions by phone. Basically, am saying that I'm not comfortable putting in writing, what I can't guarantee will not change by showtime. What I write (or type) on this subject is sometimes taken out of context and considered etched in stone. It can (and has) in the past caused bad feelings, despite our prequalifying such information as "tentative". If it were entirely within my control, would have no issue publishing the signing fees but since it's not.... ------------------ Steve Hankow http://www.farthestreaches.com |

Steve, I hope this question wasn't asked before. Buzz Aldrin will be signing his book a few miles a way the night before ( B/N Paramus, N.J.) Friday the 12th at 7 pm. My question. Will he charge a fee to sign his book at the convention the next day since the signing at Paramus will be free? |
