Bonhams New York has opened bidding on its History of Science and Technology, including Space History sale, scheduled for Oct. 25, 2022.

Among the lots are a stuffed Snoopy doll signed by Charles Schulz and 22 astronauts, multiple Apollo command module storage bins and a number of Gemini and Apollo heat shield fragments.

Some good looking lucites there (assuming the provenance is good). But a few errors in the dimensions for the pieces within the lucite. Either decimal points missed or using 'cms' instead of 'mm' (essentially the same result).

Most worrying is the clearly fake Gagarin at Lot 1130. A quick look at Steve Zarelli's website and Gagarin analysis clearly shows why.

I've just emailed Adam Stackhouse at Bonhams as I had to ask him about another matter.

Adam at Bonhams has been very responsive which is great to see. Clearly someone who values the community's input and takes it seriously.

Does anyone have any thoughts on prices realized at Bonhams latest auction?

They seemed a bit low to me, just curious what others thought.

I also thought that, in general, the prices for most items were on the low side except for the Apollo 7-17 signed Flight Plans that sold for $138,975 with buyers premium.

Other than the Apollo 10 Flight Plan that was signed by the entire crew the other Flight Plans were signed by either one or two of the crewmembers.

I'm not complaining.

All of these were assembled by me at various events/signings. Hard to part with.

All times are CT (US)
