Wardlow Auctions of Louisville, Kentucky is holding a two-day sale of The Dobbins Private NASA Collection, Aug. 15-16, 2022.
Working at NASA on multiple projects for more than 40 years, Dennis Dobbins built an impressive private collection covering astronauts from the Mercury era thru the Shuttle era. In a time period when an IBM computer filled a room and required dedicated experts to run, his position as a computer data specialist gave him the opportunity to meet a wide range of managers, directors, astronauts, government officials, and more.

Over his many years with NASA, and beyond, Dennis focused on building a personal encyclopedia of images and autographs. This extraordinary collection features thousands of signed items featuring Jim Irwin, Wernher von Braun, John Glenn, Eugene Cernan, hundreds of vintage red number NASA images, international and American stamps, covers from 1960 and later from Apollo missions, experiments, Shuttle missions, and beyond.

This impressive lifetime project comes to the market in an extensive two night auction, featuring almost one thousand opportunities for you to add something special to your own library of space memorabilia. (No authentication or COA's available. You may contact us to learn about our private viewing opportunities for personal inspection prior to the closing of the auction.)

All times are CT (US)
