The American Space Museum's 20th space memorabilia charity auction in now posted online. This is by far one of the best I think we have ever had with some very scarce and one of a kind items.

The live auction will be held on June 25, 2022 at 12 p.m. EDT.

Please take a look.

I wanted to point out a few of the fine items in this American Space Museum auction on June 25th.
  • Possibly the only Mercury spacecraft launch escape rocket motor ever sold. This great artifact was used in the Little Joe test and is currently on display at the Lakeland Air Museum.

  • Another great and rare Mercury era item is this Rocketdyne S-3 rocket engine. This is a real and full size rocket engine also currently on display at the Lakeland Air Museum.

  • An Apollo 11 insurance cover from the collection of Command Module Pilot Michael Collins.

  • There are a good number of rare and seldom seen items in this auction including the only surviving Apollo program Auto Collimator that was used to align the Saturn V and the Saturn 1B on the launch pad. this optical instrument is in amazing condition.
There are so many great items I will post a few more later. Please take a look and support the American Space Museum.

As always, Chuck, it was a pleasure and so good in being on the auction museum floor for the first time since 2019. Another great ASM auction with some incredible prices realized all for a worthwhile cause in honoring our aerospace workers and astronauts, to help preserve our space history, and to educate, inspire, and motivate future space generations.
