A word of warning on Invaluable absentee bidding...Auction houses can at their discretion accept bids that fail to meet the increments set in the auction terms. If that happens, it can turn your higher absentee bid into a nonconforming bid that Invaluable's system will not submit. I had this happen to me during this auction. My max bid was higher than the "winning" bid, yet my max bid became nonconforming and was not submitted by Invaluable due to the acceptance of a nonconforming bid by Lunar Legacies. I rarely bid in these auctions so I did not know this. Lunar Legacies did not know it, either. | |
