Just a note, As with most "all volunteer organizations" we are behind on this auction and still have about 150 lots to list. Please check back we are trying to add about 20 lots a day.

After a severe bout of flu I am back at work and trying to load the remaining auction items. Let's face it, being sick sucks.

Another fun auction Chuck! Got outbid on a lot but enjoyed it nonetheless.

Several people e-mailed me about being booted off the auction and not being able to place a bid. I am working with Invaluable to find out what happened.

If this happened to anyone please e-mail me so we can document the problems. I am sorry for any one who missed out on an item.

Not sure if this was the problem this time for some, but six months ago I had a problem with Invaluable using Explorer, switched to Chrome and haven't had any problems. If troubleshooting, check people's browsers they are using.

Explorer may be the issue, I can't even log into any Invaluable auction using it, I use Firefox.

I also cannot even log into an Invaluable auction using Explorer, I have always used Chrome but it is my understanding that Firefox works just as well.

I always hate to hear when someone is not able to participate but many times it is the slow pace of bidding that costs many people an auction lot. As the auction is online people need to bid quickly as the pace of the auction is pretty fast (one lot per minute on average). And many times the bids do not come in until after the final warning as been issued.

I personally give 5 seconds after the final warning before hitting SOLD. I have no idea what the delay of the internet might be but with the GOING ONCE, GOING TWICE, FAIR WARNING, there is at least 12 second from the last bid before I will sell an item.

My winning bid for one lot was invoiced, shipped, and I received it over a week ago. Are you sure you were the winning bidder?

Well, I received an email from Invaluable congratulating me on winning the item so I guess I did. I waited a week before emailing auctions@spacewalkoffame.com but haven’t received an acknowledgement. Might be time to try again.

It is my understanding that all invoices have been sent, If you have not received your invoice, please e-mail Karan at auctions@americanspacemuseum.org. We will figure out what happened.

Thanks to all who corresponded and assisted in a successful result. My lot arrived in the UK yesterday. It seems the most obvious solution is to simply log in to your Invaluable account, navigate to the Purchases screen and deal with the invoice from there. Looking forward to the next ASM auction now.

I consigned several items for the March 2019 auction which sold — does anyone know when I will receive payment?

Please contact Eleanor at the museum for an update on your consignment check. Average auction payouts to consignors is 45 days from the day of the auction and this is listed on the consignment sheets.

Just for general information checks are issued as soon as all consigned items are paid for. Many checks have already been sent but we still have 5 people who won items in the auction who have not paid.

In the case of unpaid items the cosigner is paid for all sold items that where paid for and the unpaid items are returned. We try to give the winning buyers every opportunity to pay for there items sending notices and making personal phone calls.

Final notices went out this week for the unpaid items. Thanks to everyone for there patience.

All times are CT (US)
