Nearly 100 items relating to space exploration available now at RR Auction

RR Auction is featuring Science and Technology in its June Fine Autographs and Artifacts auction. Bidding is live now, through Wednesday, June 13.

Along with more than 150 items from the world's greatest scientific minds and discoveries, there are also close to 100 artifacts directly involved with space exploration. Many are flown and autographed items, as well as research and training materials for nearly all the US missions.

Highlights include:

• An extraordinary 1:3 scale contractor's model of a Mercury-Redstone capsule from the early 1960s
  

• Fantastic flown American flag carried to the lunar surface on Apollo 15, 6.25 x 4, signed and flight-certified: "Carried to the lunar surface aboard Apollo 15, Dave Scott"
  

• Dave Scott's Apollo 9 flown command module checklist, heavily annotated by CMP Scott
  

• Scarce and sought-after color 10x8 NASA lithograph of the Apollo 11 crew posing in their white space suits against a lunar backdrop, signed by Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin
  

• Vintage 1:96 scale engineering model of the Saturn 1B rocket designed by the Graphic Engineering and Models Division at the George C. Marshall Space Center
