RegencySuperior proudly presents its Space and Collectibles Public Auction on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015 beginning at 11 a.m. (Central Time). 520 lots will go up on the auction block with live internet bidding directly on RegencySuperior's website and Invaluable.com.Among the standouts are two pieces of equipment, gyroscopes of the type used for the 1958 Juno I Redstone Jupiter Missile (Lot 52), and the other for the 1961 Redstone missile (Lot 53), estimated at $7,000 each. If autographs are more your affinity, we have a magnificent item in Lot 103. This signed piece is on a 1963-dated Morehead Planetarium stationery (where virtually all astronauts trained) with eight astronautsà signatures, including Armstrong, Grissom, See and others — an item with unquestionable provenance to be sure! It is estimated at $5,000-$7,000. Looking for artwork? Lot 133 is a Neil Armstrong signed limited edition of Paul Calle's Lithograph reproduction. This piece is of the pencil drawing of Neil Armstrong suited up for historic, July 16, 1969 voyage to the Moon. Paul Calle was one of eight artists commissioned by NASA in 1962 to document the U.S space program and was the only artist present as the crew of Apollo 11 prepared for launch. Robbins medallions always attract a lot of attention. Lot 321 (1997 STS-81 Silver Robbins Medallion #99) is just one of over a dozen to choose from. All housed in their original plastic case. The entire auction is now available online for viewing and bidding (absentee and Live bidding) at RegencySuperior.com. Free color catalogs are available by calling toll-free 1-800-782-0066.
