Artcurial will hold an Aeronautics auction on Jan. 29, 2012 featuring the space collection of veteran French journalist Jacques Tiziou. The auction catalog is now online in English and French (also available as a PDF in French). |

Nice items, the most unique being the artistic photographs of Mr. Tiziou of Saturns on the pad.However I doubt that some of the articles with a mention "ayant volé" (flown) actually have, including LM Kapton. |

The RF-84 cockpit is fantastic. That all hooked up to a simulator package with wrap-around screens outside would be amazing. Lottery win required though... LOL!! |

If you want to look through the auction results (and you're here in the states), 1 euro = $1.33. So something that sold for 100 euros = $133. 300 euros = $400. Just add a third of the sold price. |

Over $770,000 in aviation sold with quite a few invendu (not sold) looking at the results. Many of the common Apollo lithos had "out of this world" reserves apparently.Several Sokol suits went unsold. Lot 186 sold for 88,000 Euros. |
