I am hoping collectSPACE'rs may be able to help me locate a post programme review and complete listing of the flown Development Test Objectives (DTO)/Detailed Supplementary Objectives (DSO) and Risk Mitigation Experiments (RME) assigned to the space shuttle and on which mission they flew.I would also be grateful to be pointed in the right direction to read of any results from these evaluations.
I am interested in tracking these evaluations through to operational use, such as DTO680, which was an on orbit fit check of the Crew Recumbent Seat, tested on STS-66 and flown operationally for the first time on STS-71 and all the missions returning resident crew members from Mir and ISS.
Shuttle Press Kits list some of these pre-flight, and Mission Reports mention briefly others post flight, but I am having difficulty in finding a complete listing, overview or summary and findings.
It was a huge programme, not so glamorous or headline grabbing perhaps as docking, EVA or payload deployments, and they also involved many different investigators which complicate the issue. But it would be useful to have the data in one source as they were an important part of the Shuttle payload manifest.
