A high definition video by McLean Fahnestock. Originally released last year — but making the rounds on social media now due to the anniversary of STS-135.

That's very cool! However it's sad seeing the Challenger tragedy footage in there.

I've been thinking of the STS-135 launch today. I was fortunate to see it in person last year.

As unbelievably cool as that is (and even before I saw how the video ended), I couldn't help my eyes searching out for the 25th box and my ears listening out for the 25th commentary: "Challenger, go at throttle up ..." and all the chilling commentary that followed.

Fantastic ending to a brilliant video compilation. Well done.

That was fantastic... I wonder why STS-2 finishes earlier than the others... seems like the Max Q bit was missed out. I have video of the whole of that launch so I wonder why it was shortened.

Challenger is very poignant, as is watching STS-107 launch.

I wonder if the guy would do all the landings too!

If anyone has all the launches in fair-good quality on non-network coverage I am very interested in securing a copy.
